The Hazelton Cross Country Ski Society is now officially registered with Societies BC!
The HXCSS held its first AGM on May 9, 2021. Catherine Dworak, Bev Busby, Candace Munro, and Jamie McKeen were elected as the Directors.
The purpose of the first AGM was to inform the community about the newly formed society, elect the board, and hear from the community.
The HXCSS had an enthusiastic reception from community members. Participants of the AGM were keen to brainstorm ideas for areas where to build a cross-country ski trail.
The HXCSS is looking forward to making a lasting contribution to recreation opportunities for the communities on Gitxsan Territory.
